The Company
We are a fast-growing non-profit social enterprise with offices in the Netherlands, Portugal, India, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Triggerise builds digital platforms that motivate users - primarily young women and adolescent girls - to make positive choices. We work together with local communities and use nudges like reminders, discounts and reward points to encourage our users to access and use health products and services. We also support our users in becoming entrepreneurs and adding value to their economies.

The Job
You are a strategist. In this senior position, you are responsible for cultivating philanthropic support from individuals, corporations and foundations so we can execute our mission. You are an incredible networker that is able to design and execute a fundraising plan that will help us achieve our vision and growth. You spot fundraising trends as soon as they arise and can put us in a prime position to receive those funds. You can convey our story in an authentic, engaging and persuasive way.


  • You lead our Business Development team and our fundraising efforts. You report directly to the CEO  
  • Your challenge is to fundraise between 30 and 45 million euro in the next three years, to support our core development and our impact growth
  • You use your network and sales skills to identify and convince potential funders for future Triggerise projects
  • You lead the proposal development process  for high-value funding requests 
  • You represent Triggerise to potential funders and other stakeholders in our field

About You
You can connect us to the people that can help Triggerise grow. You are convinced of our mission and you can convey that message in a myriad of ways. Your enthusiasm and solid knowledge of what we have to offer convinces others to invest in us. 



  • You have a proven track record in successfully securing funding from major donors, corporations (especially tech-related ones), individual philanthropists and foundations  
  • You are a persuasive and compelling communicator and storyteller
  • You have a proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with external partners and clients at a senior level.
  • You have an extensive network amongst private (tech-related) companies or foundations
  • A non-profit background can be a plus, but we are open to experienced candidates from other sectors as well.
