The Company
We are a fast-growing non-profit social enterprise with offices in the Netherlands, Portugal, India, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Triggerise builds digital platforms that motivate users - primarily young women and adolescent girls - to make positive choices. We work together with local communities and use nudges like reminders, discounts, and reward points to encourage our users to access and use health products and services. We also support our users in becoming entrepreneurs and adding value to their economies.

Our main tech hub is situated in Porto, with a team of 20 composed of back end and BI developers, product owners, data analysts, and support officers. We have a centrally located office with fantastic river views, plus, we are very flexible when it comes to working from home! Our people are young and the culture is global and dynamic. Our work environment is informal, friendly, and fast-paced. 

The Job 

You’ll oversee the Data Teams, ensuring coordination and alignment between the two.  You help them grow and maximize their potential on an individual basis as well as within the team environment.

  • You focus on the structure of the teams and ensure that we have the right people in the right place, at the right time. 
  • You help the team(s) optimize the processes they have in place, individually and within the rest of the organization. 
  • You influence and quality check that technical standards, including software coding standards and data management.
  • Work closely with our CTO making sure that the technical contributions contribute to Triggerise overall strategy.

You have experience working with teams and are able to make sure teams and individuals are aligned in what they’re doing.  You’re an excellent communicator, with people of all levels.

  • You enable teams and people to accomplish the goals set out and can guide and mentor others effectively.
  • You’re able to communicate clearly what is expected, and how the teams will reach expected outcomes.
  • You’re a natural problem solver.
